Our Obsession With Time

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.  — Steve Jobs

I have no doubt in my mind that these gentlemen are extremely smart and generous for trying to give the world the gift of immortality — in a way.  But the truth of the matter is that we will never know if this will come to pass or not.  Certainly, I believe we will live forever but not the way they put it. To each it’s own.

It’s clear  that these men, scientist, are driven by a personal problem, “How much time do I have?,” where the answer is really simple: Not much.

Life is too short  — you and I don’t have much time. But more than obsessing on how much you can do if you had more years, think about how much you can leave behind with the years you are destined to have.

Leave a legacy, start now, and be yourself.
