There comes a time in life where you need to stop blowing the horn, making announcements, and sending off tweets of what you’re going to do. We have become a generation of positive declarations, which is good for a change, but with negative or half-fulfilled executions. We believe in our minds that people are rejoicing with our intentions, and they probably are, but they are also becoming the first witness of our failure. If your proclamation is not creating a demand, an inner desire to hustle, start and finish, and complete — then your toot and mine are in vain. We are better off quietly working in the shadows — slowly, secretly, and consistently creating the unannounced.
