Technology Is Nothing

Technology is nothing. What’s important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them. – Steve Jobs

I’ve been on a Steve Jobs marathon. Watched like three documentaries, his biopic, bunch of youtube interviews, and now anxious to read his biography. If I can take anything from him, it will be his driven spirit to develop awesome products that changes people and the world. Which he has done in a very direct and indirect way.

Here’s the big question that I’ve been asking for several post now.

What can you do with the resources you already have?

It’s not about what you don’t have. Who’s around you? What do you have in hand now? Can you do something with it? Can you give them something?

I don’t know if my questions quite goes with Job’s quote. But if you  have an interest in investing in people lives, there’s no need to wait. You can do so now! With the tools you have.

We all want to make something out of ourselves. Why? If it’s “just because,” then you wont get around much. What’s the motive? purpose?

If we’re in the business of impacting lives. Go impact! Not just to feel good. But because you can see the good in people. You can see beyond the need and pain. Then, expect wonderful things in return.
